Information you give us
When you request a sample or in-service, or contact us, we collect what you type into the form: your name, role, work email, phone number, hospital or facility, city and state, the products you're interested in, approximate case volume, and any notes you add.
Please do not send patient information. Our forms are not intended for protected health information (PHI), and we ask that you never include patient names, medical record numbers, images, or clinical details in a message to us. NinoMed is a device manufacturer, not a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA, and our website is not a HIPAA-secured channel.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records standard technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the site that referred you. We use analytics and advertising tools that set cookies or similar identifiers, which may include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta (Facebook) and LinkedIn tags. These providers may combine this data with information they hold about you from other sites.
How we use it
- To respond to your request, ship evaluation samples, and schedule in-services
- To provide quotes, order support, and product documentation
- To meet our obligations as a medical device manufacturer, including complaint handling and any required regulatory reporting
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
We do not sell your personal information. We only send product-update email to people who opt in — there is an unchecked box on our request form for exactly that, and leaving it unchecked means we will contact you about your request and nothing else. You can unsubscribe at any time from any message, or by emailing [email protected].
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us operate — our email delivery provider, hosting and content delivery provider, and shipping carriers — and with our authorized distributors when they are the ones fulfilling your request. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to a regulator such as the FDA where device reporting obligations apply.
How long we keep it
We keep sample and in-service requests for as long as needed to support the relationship and to satisfy recordkeeping obligations that apply to medical device manufacturers, then delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live — for example in the EU/EEA, the UK, or California — you may have additional rights, including the right to object to processing, request portability, or opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, and use Google's opt-out tools for analytics.
International visitors
NinoMed is based in the United States and our service providers may process data in the United States. If you contact us from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and handled in the U.S.
Children
Our site is directed at healthcare professionals and is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted securely. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so please use the caution described above about patient information.
Changes
If we update this policy we will change the date at the top of this page.
